Ornament

Hi! I made this ornament as a thank you to Jean of dandeliondesigns.blogspot.com. Got some blog candy~cute ping and pong, santa hat, fluorish, and sentiment stamps. I incorporated all of them into this ornament. The sentiment is on the back. Check out her site (www.dandeliondesigns.org), she makes the cutest stamps :) and a lot of them with local flavor!
Much aloha~!

My "Sultry" Top Note Mini Album

Here's a mini album I just completed. It's a top note shaped mini made from the Basic Grey 6x6 Sultry Paper Pad. Love the pinks, browns, and greens. Lots of paper flowers as always.

I'm not sure if it was clear what I was saying...I don't have a lot of large brads or rhinestones or pearls...so I had to find something to put in the center of my larger paper flowers. I could have used buttons, but wanted something a little different. So, I used the centers of naked chipboard flowers. I inked them up, added glossy accents and glitter...and voila! A flower center! Thanks again Friday (Tfriday77), for the idea of scrunching the ribbon.

Re-Purposing...

In this day and age, it's important for us to think about Mother Earth and her future. Currently, I am into re-purposing things...it's a good thing...think of all the products (packaging, etc.) that you can use for something crafty! One way is making a mini from toilet paper rolls (Bona had a cute mini)...or using the backboards of your old notepads as chipboard...or using some old cardboard boxes...just some ideas :).

Happy Friday, Happy Crafting, and Much Aloha!
