I loved making this card. Two of the colors were my wedding colors. I think I'll use this "invite" to an Engagement Party for my Engagement/Wedding Scrapbook, which is long overdue, hee hee. The embellishmagazine.com Color Challenge was Green, Deep Red, and Gold/Kraft. I am also playing along with The Shabby Tea Room - Week #17 - which involved creating a card or project using embossing. I wet embossed the lace background stamp on the gold vellum with gold embossing powder.
~ Paper - Metallic Red Cardstock, gold vellum
~ Stamps - SU! sentiment, lace background stamp
~ Inks - Versamark, gold embossing powder
~ Embellishments - SU! satin ribbon, pearl trim, JB stick pin with additional pearl added, baby roses
1. Trim metallic red cardstock, with an extra strip at the bottom. Use scallop edge punch on this strip.
2. Wet emboss lace background stamp on gold vellum with gold embossing powder.
3. Add strip of metallic red cardstock, pearl trim, and satin ribbon.
4. Stamp sentiment. Add baby roses and stick pin.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
*hugs* and Much aloha~!
