Hi Everyone!

I wet embossed the birdie image...stamped the word, Love...add some green DP, which I stamped with the script stamp...and added some beautiful pink lace from my friend, Rose, some Webster's Pages' trim, some Prima baby roses that I glimmer misted, and a JB stick pin, which I added a glass pearl to. I also inked up the edges...

~* Papercraft Star Challenge #4 *~

Hi Everyone!

The challenge this week at Papercraft Star is to create a card, layout, or project inspired by your favorite team. Being from Hawaii, my favorite teams are the University of Hawaii at Manoa's sports teams. I used to watch the Rainbow Wahine Volleyball team a lot in high school and college. I wanted to make a card with a volleyball, but I didn't have that diecut so I used the basketball instead ;p'.

Supplies:
- Inks/etc. ~ SU! stampin write pen, Glossy Accents, Glimmer Mist (Marshmallow), Smooch Spritz (Vanilla Shimmer)
- Paper ~ white cardstock, Marcella K
- Embellishments ~ Sizzix Originals Dress Ups Body, Girl's Hair, and Basketball/shoes; glittery alpha stickers

Instructions:
1. Cut out a strip of yellow polkadot Designer paper and adhere to the white cardstock. Cut the stripes and adhere it at an angle. Glimmer Mist with Marshmallow. Draw in faux stitching with a pen.
2. Die cut the body, clothes, basketball, and shoes using your Sizzix dies.
3. Draw in the face, color in the hair, body, clothes, etc. Smooch Spritz them. Adhere them with foam tape.
4. Add alphas to card and add Glossy Accents to make them more dimensional.

~* The Play Date Cafe: PDCC #38 *~

Hi Everyone!
Was inspired to make a card using the photo inspiration and color palette from PDCC today. I used a Webster's Pages Life's Portrait DP as a base...but I inked it up A LOT so I don't know if you can tell anymore. I had to create my purple (luckily I had lilac and green, hehe) with several inks since I don't think I have a purple stamp pad. Used some lace and pearl trim over the stamped image that I also inked up. Also, used some pretty lilac fiber from Marie and the pretty bloom from Tracy :)! Thanks girls!
Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!
Have a fabulous Thursday!

~* Chi Chi Memories CCM.SC #9 *~

Hi Everyone!
I stumbled upon the CUTEST site! Their images are SOOO SUPER CUTE! They remind me of my childhood for some reason ;p'.
Here's my take on the sketch. I don't have any of their images yet so I grabbed their cute freebie. It's a cutie. I used DCWV papers and handwrote my sentiment.
Have a great Tuesday!

~* The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC37 - Provencal Style *~

Hi Everyone!
Love the inspiration photo at The Play Date Cafe this week. I see pinks, yellowish greens, greens, teals, white...some dark brownish colors...Here is what I came up with. I used my fav Webster's Pages Life's Portrait papers and trim. I wet embossed the "live love smile always" with clear embossing powder and added Distress Inks over them and some of the DP. Added Glossy Accents to the chandelier and black flourishes near the big flower and added Crackle Accents to the birdie. Doesn't the trim at the top sort of remind you of a countryside curtain? Maybe it's just me, hee hee.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

~* 365 Cards - Day 131 - Beautiful Banner & CCCB Week #12 - Some Like It Hot *~

Hi Everyone!

Here's a card I made from the cute cute Three Bugs in a Rug paper from KristinaH! Aren't the birdies cute?

I am playing in two challenges...

- I made a banner from the scalloped border of one of the DPs. Cut some slits to separate the banner pieces and stamped the alphas.

- Thought this card depicted a scene from a nice sunny summer day...and there are little bits of red :).

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

~* Webster's Pages Altered Birdie House *~

Hi Everyone!
Happy Friday!
This is a project I started last nite and finished up now. It's an altered birdie house (birdie house & baby roses were from my dear friend, Rina :)). I used Webster's Pages' Life's Portrait papers and a bunch of Webster's Pages trims. I distressed the edges of the DP with Distress Inks. I also added Crackle Accents to many of the flower images, but you can't see it too well because I added Matte Multi-Medium over everything (I love that stuff!!). Isn't the saying cute - "live love smile always"!
Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great weekend!

~* 365 Cards - Day 129 - Aged Look *~

Hi Everyone!
Here's a card I made last nite. The challenge was to give your card an aged look...and you know I love distressing with Distress Inks. hee hee. I also added Crackle Accents to some of the images to give them an aged look. Audrey, I finally dove into my Webster's Pages paper (a couple DPs have my fav quote - I cut one out and used it)! Was a little scary since I love them a lot. Used a couple WP trims too. I love these colors! I also used some BIG pearl trim and my new Nestie, which I used to cut white cardstock with, stamped the script stamp, and inked it up.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
