~* thank you *~

Hi Everyone!

It's me again! I was really inspired to create tonite! I've been meaning to use the shell stamps in the Flourishes Seaside Life stamp set for awhile now. I love Flourishes stamps because they look so real and they are so detailed. The challenge for the Flourishes Bring Back Beautiful "Time for Neutral Beauty" Challenge was to use neutral shades (shades of gray, brown, or even black and white). I started off with a kraft cardstock base. I stamped one of the shell images and colored it in with my Copic Markers. I even added a faint light gray shadow. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I inked up the edges with Distress Ink. Tied burlap twine around the card and added vintage coconut shell and wood buttons.
It looks a little simple, but it reminds me of the beach~open and calm ;p'.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you're having a lovely week!
*hugs* and Much aloha to you~!
Steph :)

Your remark about " it looks a little simple" made me smile. Beauty can be found in simple things. This card doesn't need much elements. These things are enough; perfect! I love that shell stamp and your coloring skills are amazing :). And the addition of burlap and buttons is a great idea. Well balanced and gorgeous; I love it.
Have a wonderful weekend!! I just filled my washing machine again :)
Hugs,
Stella
