~* Graphic 45 Happy Haunting Mini Altered Paper Bag with Tags *~

I totally love love love making altered paper bags with tags or cards.
I made this mini altered kraft paper bag (from the Target Dollar Bin) with tags using the Graphic 45 Happy Haunting collection.  I layered a lot of the designer papers and fussy cut images including the black cat on the right side :).  He was hard to cut out :p!  I inked up all the edges with Distress Ink in Black Soot.  Some of the images have Crackle Accents and Stickles in Frosted Lace or Star Dust.  I added some bling mesh and cute buttons that remind me of pumpkins.  There is also some burlap twine under the large black rose.  The black rose has Stickles added to it.  I tied some pretty delicate lace at the top and added a bling.  It used to be clear and I colored it up with my black Copic marker.
The back features one of the Graphic 45/Hampton Art Happy Haunting stamps.  Love that pumpkin.  I added designer papers and part of some of another kraft paper bag to the mini shipping tags and added some lace and twine at the top as well as those pumpkin-looking buttons and baby Prima roses.
I sprayed the project with Lindy's Stamp Gang Glitz Spritz in Scintillating Silver.
I am entering this project into the following challenges:

~* Graphic 45 Bird Song Altered Frame *~

Sharing an altered frame I made using the pretty Graphic 45 Bird Song collection.  Love the vintage Asian images - so pretty.
I added acrylic paint over the frame.  I created sprays using Wild Orchid Crafts rosebuds and cherry blossoms.  Stickles and Crackle Accents are throughout to accent the images.  I added some vintage buttons as well as this cool gold trim and yellow pearl trim.  I fussy cut the lanterns, the little butterfly, the flowers, and the flower in the lady's hair.  I also added some trinket pearls and halfback pearls and delicate lace.
I'm entering this project in the Graphic 45 FB challenge as well as the Wild Orchid Challenge: Silver and Gold.  I have gold in the trim, button, and the cherry blossom.  The Stickles has a silvery sheen.

~* Shabby Vintage Christmas Altered Paper Bag & Tags (A Christmas Card for a Friend) *~

Happy weekend, everyone!
Here's *another* (hehe) altered paper bag with tags that I made.  I used the super cute and vintage Melissa Frances Countdown to Christmas paper collection.  It has such super cute vintage images!  Love it.
I layered the DP, added a bunch of yummy trims, including my fave pom pom trims, lace that I tied in a bow and added a TH trinket pin and halfback pearl, some pretty applique pieces, trinket heart and flower pearls, and paper flowers.  Everything was distressed with Distress Ink in Antique Linen and acrylic paint in Antique White.  I also doodled and accented with Stickles throughout.
The two tags have some pretty vintagey buttons and the edges are distressed with paint.
I am entering this project into three challenges:
1. DYSU Challenge Blog - DYSU #94 - Vintage
2. jingle belles - Holiday Creature Feature - I tried to showcase the sweet little puppies and kitty on the paper.  They are peaking out here and there.

~* Shabby Chic Altered Wood Frame (from the Target Dollar Bin) *~

Aloha All!
Welcome to my new subbies :)!
Sharing an altered frame that I created using a Target Dollar Bin wood frame.
I loved having lots of shabby layers in this project.  I painted the frame with acrylic paint.  I adhered some shabby chic origami paper onto the front of the frame.  There is a bunch of doodles that I drew with Star Dust Stickles (love Stickles!).  I also layered lots of Wild Orchid Craft, Prima, and Making Memories roses.  All of the flowers have Stickles on them.  I added the heart crystal spray from WOC.  I made sort of a rosette from delicate eyelet trim and I placed that under the flower bunch on the left.  I framed the inner part of the frame with an organza trim that had flower beads on it.  I added some trinket pearls in flower and heart shapes.  There is a bunch of pearl trims, including the heart one draped in the upper left corner.  I also added some Prima pearl bling.  Around the edge of the frame is some pearl trim and some lace.
I even finished the back with half-back pearls, doodles made with Stickles, the organza trim and eyelet lace with a flower bunch on top.  These flowers have Stickles added to them as well.
I had a lot of fun altering this frame.
I am entering this project into Sugar Creek Hollow: #33 - Show Some Sparkle.  This project sure has a lot of sparkle :).
I wish you a lovely week!

~* Shabby Chic Teenie Weenie Altered Wooden Trinket Box *~

Aloha Everyone!
I think I'm coming down with a cold or the vog is bothering me :(...but I am happy that I got to complete my project tonight :)!
I altered a tiny wooden shadow box.  I painted it with acrylic paints and added this pretty shabby chic origami paper that I had in my stash.  I added a whitewash of Antique White paint over the paper.  I layered laces and eyelet laces, and heart pearl trims.  The top has a bunch of Wild Orchid Craft paper roses in Pink Mist, Aqua, and Peach.  I added Frosted Lace Stickles to all the flowers.  The teenie tiny rosebuds are from my friend, Rina.  I added a bit of organza trim with a plastic flower, small flower bead trim, and pretty heart lace trim in the upper left corner.  I added trinket pearls around the shadow box frame.  Inside the shadow box, I added some more of the paper and added a rose charm pendant, which I tied a bit of delicate lace through the hole.  There is also lace under the spray of Wild Orchid Craft roses in the bottom right corner.  Trinket pearls are woven through the spray and some medium flower bead trim was added in the lower left corner.  I added two halfback pearls and a tiny Wild Orchid Craft rose near the box closure.
There are pinks, greens, white, and lace in my project so I am entering it into The Shabby Tea Room's Week #135 - Beautiful Romance challenge.  Here is the inspiration photo.
I am also entering this project into the Wild Orchid Challenge Week #60 - Anything Goes.  I used a bunch of Wild Orchid Craft paper roses on my project.  I love their flowers.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a lovely day!

~* Doin' a DOUBLE-TAKE...with The Greeting Farm & Happy World Card Making Day~ *~

Aloha!  Happy World Card Making Day!
I was super inspired to create this card with The Greeting Farm - Birthday Anya II stamp.  Isn't she a cutie pie.  For Double-Take Tuesday (DTT) Challenge this week at The Greeting Farm blog, we were to play with this super cute sketch and use similar colors to the sample.

I used the pretty DCWV The Vintage Flora Stack.  I also used the dark coral-ish red color and green color similar to the reddish and green colors used in the sample.  The die is MFT's Oval Open Scallop Doily. I fussy-cut Miss Anya after coloring her up with my Copics.  I added some Frosted Lace Stickles to her cupcake and dress.  The pretty ribbon is from k i Memories.  I added a Wild Orchid Crafts paper rose to the center of the bow.  There is a lot of layering of the designer papers and a lot of them are up on dimensional foam tape.
Check out Paper Issues on Facebook!  They are celebrating World Card Making Day with wonderful giveaways!

~* May Arts/Helmar September Craft Challenge – Ink it! - Upcycled Altered Trinket Box - Project #2 *~

Aloha Everyone!
Sharing with you my second project that I created for the May Arts/Helmar Craft Challenge - Ink It!  The challenge was to use 450 Quick Dry, each ribbon we provide you with & that you color the ribbon (I selected the flowers, suede leaves, mini pom poms, and canvas trim).
For this project, I upcycled and altered a Pocky box :).  I used the beautiful Prima Romance Novel paper collection by Marion Smith.  All the papers have a "white-wash" of Antique White acrylic paint and the edges are distressed with acrylic paint.  I added muslin to the front panel to add texture before adhering the designer paper.  There are layered images, lace, flowers (paper and fabric), Crackle Accents, and trinket pearls.
On the top flap, I added some of the May Arts mini pom pom trim that I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Crushed Shells.  I made the huge puffy flower from three of the May Arts rosettes and the center was created with the May Arts mini pom pom trim.  I sprayed it with Lindy's Stamp Gang spray in Cotton Candy Pink and Cape Cod Coral.  I also distressed it with some acrylic paint.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great week!
