~* Back-to-School Photo Display for my Sis *~

Aloha Everyone!
Sharing a photo display I created using coasters for my sis to display her kiddies' school photos.  The mats accommodate 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" wallet size photos.  I used the Crate Paper Pretty Party paper stack (don't ya love the strawberry paper :)).  I distressed the edges with Antique Linen and also added faux stitching with my pen.  I colored up the Greeting Farm images from the Oliver and Amelia Little Dreamer set with Copic markers.  Love those backpacks, aren't they adorable?  I used a bunch of Wild Orchid Craft flowers (all the paper roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts as well as the double layered crochet flower}...{Going to submit this project into the Wild Orchid Craft Challenge - Summer Flowers.}  I added some twine around the photo mats.  The blue one is from Doodlebug and the pink one is from kawaiigoodies on etsy.  I also added some buttons which are from kawaiigoodies.  The little wood rulers are from Maya Road.  I added some wood letters from Walmart which I painted with acrylic paint and then added Frosted Lace Stickles to them.  I also added Frosted Lace Stickles to the wings on her backpack.  I used some Stampin' Up! products including the punch and the trim to tie the two pieces together.  I also added some pearls - to the center of the crochet flower, the heart pearl near the "K" and the pearls on the tab.  I handwrote the "2012" on the tab.
Thanks for stopping by have a lovely week!

~* Prima Almanac Teenie Weenie Mini :) *~

Aloha Everyone!
Hope you're having a wonderful week so far!  Can you believe it's mid-August already?  Where did the time go?
Here is my teenie weenie mini that I created using the following goodies from kawaiigoodies:

  • mini glassine bags (2" x 3.5")
  • script stamped cloth deco tape
I cut out the little images from the paper and layered it on the designer papers.  I edged everything with Distress Ink in Antique Linen.  I connected the bags with kraft cardstock and the back binding is made of the cloth deco tape.  I had a lot of fun creating this teenie weenie project.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!*hugs* and Much aloha~!Steph :)

~* Prima "So Cute" Mini Altered Paper Bag with Tags *~

Aloha Everyone!

Happy August!  Hope you're all doing well!  We all have been under-the-weather in my household so it's been tough :(, but I found some time last nite to create!  This project is one of my Creative Design Team projects for kawaiigoodies on etsy!  I love Soury's store.  It's filled with wonderful kraft goodness to vintage rubber stamps to washi tapes...

I used the following goodies from kawaiigoodies to make my mini altered paper bag with tags :):
  • mini kraft lunch bag
  • divine twine
  • small manila tags
  • cotton lace adhesive deco tape
  • buttons
  • mini clothespin
I used the Prima "So Cute" paper collection - it's so cute, hee hee!  I made it a little shabby chic by adding acrylic paint on the edges of the paper and the images that I cut out.  I also added some of my own halfback pearl and trinket pearl trims.  I altered the mini clothespin with a button and twine and pearls.  The tags are covered with the designer papers and edged with the paint.  I added three colors of divine twine to each tag.  I also added designer paper to the inside of the bag.  Super fun!

Hope you have a lovely weekend!
Happy crafting!

~* Geisha Anya Card *~

Aloha Everyone!
I wanted to take a break from work and household chores and things and create.  I created this card using Geisha Anya, kraft cardstock, my Prima Nature Garden scraps, Flourishes Cherry Blossoms stamp, May Arts burlap twine and pink burlap twine trim, trinket pearls, Wild Orchid Crafts cherry blossom in champagne, Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Shot in Cape Cod Coral, and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Iridescent Gold.  I distressed the edges with Distress Ink in Antique Linen.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a FABULOUS week :)!

~* Shabby Chic Altered Mini Canvas featuring Rainy Daze Gorjuss Girl *~

Aloha Everyone!
Boy, it's been a busy week and weekend.  Had to work today (Saturday) and have to work tomorrow too.  I really wanted to craft some more, hehe.
Glad I was able to finish this mini altered canvas for my friend, Friday.  It's a little thank you I'm going to send to her because she did something really nice for me.  Anyhoo, hope she likes it :).
I used the simply gorjuss rubber stamp - Rainy Daze that I purchased from All That Scraps.  Looks like they don't have it in stock anymore, but maybe they will bring more later?  I colored her up with my Copics (I added a bit of Frosted Lace Stickles) and fussy-cut her out.  The paper is from the Prima Romantique collection.  I love it.  I added some Antique White paint all around to make it shabby chic even the wood stand.  Those are pretty Wild Orchid Craft roses that I distressed with paint.  I added a bit of pearl trim.  The wings were created with a Maya Road trim that I glimmer misted with Crushed Shells.  The letters are from K&Company.  I thought the colors went well.  I also added the sheer ribbon/fused pearl trim at the top and the bottom of the canvas.
I'm entering this into All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge-Anything Goes!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!
