~* SNSC Altered Kraft Envelope using Sassy Sophie *~

Aloha!
Today, I'm back with another Design Team Project for the Sweet Nothings Stamp Co.  I altered a kraft envelope with some Graphic 45 Secret Garden designer paper along with one of the image cards.  I like the sentiment, "A Matter of Common Sense - Plant Good Seeds."  I read it as do good and be nice to others :).  I used the adorable "Sassy Sophie" digital image that I colored up with my Copic markers.  I even added purple "eye shadow/eyeliner" to Sophie :).
I am really loooving all the shades of purple lately.  So fun to play with :)!  I used lots of yummy laces, pearl trim, and flowers, including my favorite Petaloo velvet flowers, satin rosettes, and Wild Orchid Crafts roses.  I added Stickles to the paper flowers and also doodled around the "card."  There is some Recollections bling, a Wild Orchid Crafts heart pearl bead that I adhered to the bow I made from some lace, and some really pretty vintage appliques.  I also added a pretty spray from Magnolia.

~* "Aloha" Mixed Media Canvas using Sushi Dolls "Star" Digi *~

Aloha!
Sharing a mixed media canvas that I created using Sushi Dolls "Star" digi.  Isn't she pretty?  I colored her up using my Copic markers.  I added Diamond Stickles to her.
I first painted the canvas with Martha Stewart stucco paint, then I added some pieces of doilie.  I then painted everything with gesso.  I sprayed Lindy's Stamp Gang in Blue Hawaiian Blue.  I then added Diamond Stickles all over.
I used lots of fabric in this project.  Love the texture and the color.  I made the two flowers in the upper right corner from pieces of fabric as well as the lace flower on the bottom left corner that I made from May Arts lace trim.
I embellished the canvas with pearl sprays, trinket pearl trims, Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, Magnolia spray, some pretty buttons, organza flowers, and a Stampin' Up! rose cabochon.  I also added some Thickers and glittered them up with Diamond Stickles :).

~*Tsunami Rose D.T. Project: Grungey Altered Canvas Sign using TRD's "Yesterday's Commodity" PAPER PACK"*~

Aloha!
Sharing another Design Team Project for Tsunami Rose Designs.  I created this grungey altered canvas sign using the gorgeous
8.5x11 Vintage Digital Printable Scrapbook Paper- "Yesterday's Commodity" PAPER PACK".  I added lots of layers of the printables and cut out some of the images too.  All the edges were distressed with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and with my fingernail or distressing tool.  Some of the images have Distress Crackle Paint in Rock Candy.  I also curled up a lot of the paper edges.   There are lots of paper flowers and some Guipuire lace from Wild Orchid Crafts.  There are some other paper roses, metal pieces, a Tim Holtz memo pin that I made into a stickpin with a token at the top.  I also added a stickpin I made, some burlap twine, burlap trim, Tim Holtz metal corners, a Tim Holtz bottle filled with glass pearls, a Making Memories metal hanging piece, and a Prima Vintage Trinket.   I also tucked in lots of vintage-looking buttons and a Tim Holtz hanger clip that I added gesso to.

~* Shabby Chic Double-Sided Tag using Tsunami Rose Designs April Freebie *~

Aloha!
I made this double-sided tag using Tsunami Rose Designs April Freebie a few weeks ago.  I started off with a piece of corrugated cardboard.  Just ripped off a piece from a box.  Then I revealed some of the corrugation.  I gessoed up the tag and then layered difference laces and cheesecloth and the beautiful tags and pocket from the printable.  I added Crackle Accents to the beautiful images.  There are some pieces of applique lace, Stampin' Up! rose cabochon that I gessoed up, fused pearl strands, Prima flowers, and pearl stamens.  I stickled some of the flower images and also added a tiny birdie.  At the top I added an extra large eyelet and ran some seam binding through.

~* Shabby Chic Nameplate Canvas using Sushi Dolls' Altered Retro Chic and Suzy Q *~

Aloha!
Sharing with you a project for the Sushi Dolls' Design Team.  I made this shabby chic nameplate using the Prima Fairy Rhymes collection.  I altered the Sushi Dolls image by taking the head and hair of "Retro Chic" and adding the body of "Suzy Q".  I love how she came out!  I colored her up with my Copic markers.  I painted the canvas with champagne metallic acrylic paint then layered the designer papers which I distressed with my distressing tool.
I added a bunch of yummy laces and paper flowers.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and MB's Treasurista.  There are two Prima Lyric Vintage Trinkets that I tied lace to.  Added a pearl spray, pearl heart beaded trim, and fused pearls that I tied in a knot.  The letters are some puffy Thickers :).

~* Altered Trinket Box and Card for Sabs' Birthday Trinket Box Challenge *~

Aloha!
Hope you're all having a wonderful day :)!  I created these two projects this weekend for one of my friend Sabs' birthday challenge on YouTube.  The challenge was to create a trinket box (card is optional) using lavender, lace, Stickles, and pearls.  I love all of the above so I had a ton of fun creating these for her.
I used the adorable CC Designs image called Honey August.  Isn't she cute?!?  I colored her up with my Copic markers then added Star Dust and Frosted Lace Stickles to her.  I also added a little tiny paper rose to her hair that I added champagne metallic paint to (I did this to most of the paper roses or added Star Dust Stickles).  I used some designer papers from the Prima Meadow Lark collection and the Melissa Frances C'est La Vie collection on both projects.
The box was actually an alterable box that had paper and a pencil.  I decided to take out the paper and the pencil and just make it a trinket box that Sabs' can put embellies or trinkets in.  I painted the whole thing with gesso.  Then I added Martha Stewart stucco paint to the top frame and the sides of the box.  I then painted everything with lavender acrylic paint.      I rubbed champagne metallic acrylic paint over the areas that had the stucco paint.  I loooove how it came out!  Love the texture!  I painted up some wood alphas with the lavender acrylic paint and then rubbed on the champagne metallic paint.  I embellished the box with pearls, fused pearl strand, pearl spray, crystals, satin roses, button, fabric butterfly, layered lace, heart lace from Suhafuha, paper flowers, bling, and a pearl bowtie.  I added some lavender rosette trim on the outer portion of the box and added a beautiful pink applique trim.  Those and the layered lace was from my friend, Annie :).  The box can sit open like an easel card.
The card is 4.5"x4.5".  I used a white cardstock base and added the designer papers that I distressed with my distressing tool.  I added flower purple pearl trim on the outside of the card, fused pearl trim around the center portion, a fabric butterfly, paper flowers, acrylic wheat sprays, pearl spray, satin, roses, and the same layered lace.  I stamped the sentiment with my new word stamps.
I hope Sabs likes these projects that I made for her.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

~* SNSC Spring Display using Kite Flying Sophie *~

Aloha!
We're doing a Character Focus at the Sweet Nothings Stamp Co. blog today.  We are creating projects using the adorable "Kite Flying Sophie."  She is perfect for Spring projects :)!
I created this Spring display piece using layers of Wild Rose Studio Annabelle's Meadow Paper Stack and lace.  I punched the edge of some of the papers with a Martha Stewart edge punch.  The oval scalloped die cut is made with a My Favorite Things die and I inked it with some Stampin' Up! ink.  I also layered some more of the designer papers.  I colored up the adorable "Kite Flying Sophie" with my Copic markers.  I added a bunch of butterflies and flowers and layered some lace and satin trim at the bottom.  I also edged the display with fused pearls.
Come check out the other designers' creations at Sweet Nothings Stamp Co. blog
