~* Shabby Chic Altered "Porcelain" Heart Plate *~

Aloha!
Sharing a quick project that I created.  I altered this pretty little heart shaped "porcelain" (probably ceramic) dish.  I used a piece of the Kirby Teesdale Studio Paper Stack that I cut into a heart and added Glossy Accents.  I added trinket pearls around the middle part and added a cluster of flowers that I purchased locally from Floradec and from Hobby Lobby online.  I also added a clear crystal bauble and some trinket pearls that I knotted.  I added some pretty lace around the edges of the dish.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

~* Prima Delight gorjuss girl Shabby Chic Skinny Card *~

Aloha!
Happy Aloha Friday!
Sharing a quick card that I made for my friend to go along with the Prima Delight altered wood box and altered notebook :).  I used half of a corrugated card that my friend Rina helped me purchase.  I added a bunch of the Prima Delight designer papers that I distressed with my fingernail.  I added pieces of doilies, Prima pearl and crochet trim flourishes, Prima bling, Wild Orchid Crafts roses that I added Stickles and gesso to...and I colored up the gorjuss girl with my copic markers.  I added Stickles to her bows and to the rose image on the background paper that says, "A delightful day".  I also added some paper inside for my note and an image on the back where I wrote my information.
I'm entering this card into The Sugar Bowl - Sugar Nellie Challenge Blog Challenge 109 - November which is to you use your first Sugar Nellie stamp.  This is my first gorjuss girl stamp :).
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

~* Prima Delight Altered Wood Box and Altered Notebook *~

Aloha!
Sharing some projects that I created for my friend.  Hope she likes it.  I created these gifts using the Prima Delight collection.  I used the 6x6 and A5 paper pads.  I used the beautiful designer paper with the tea cup as my main focus for both the box and the notepad.  I used Stickles to accent the images and tons of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers that I added Stickles and gesso to.  I also used a bunch of gorgeous laces that I purchased from "My Paper Passion" on Zibbet (natalia3948).  I also added halfback pearls and flowers and hearts from Wild Orchid Crafts, a tulle spray, some Prima bling and adhesive lace, my fave Prima Alencon lace, pearl stamens, and other paper flowers.  I put trinket pearls around the box and added a knotted pearl trim as the front "latch".
I made a box with one of my fave May Arts crochet laces and then added a pearl heart from Wild Orchid Crafts and added Stickles to the center of the heart.
I added large halfback pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts as the feet of my box.
Here is my altered notebook (I added some small halfback pearl hearts from Wild Orchid Crafts, some white organza flower trim, and light lavender beaded pearl trim):
I am entering these projects into the Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge 87 - Pretty Pastels.  I used my friend's favorite colors - teals, creams, purples, and pinks :) - all in the pastel shades.
I will share these projects in a video later after my friend has received them :).
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)!

~* craftycity.com Designer of the Month - Project #1 - Altered Fairy Wood Book Box *~

Aloha!
I was honored that Archana asked me to be the Designer of the Month for craftycity.com.  She sent over a sweet Design Team package and you can find it at this link.
I altered a wood book box that I purchased from Hobby Lobby.  I gessoed it up and then adhered designer papers from the Glitz Hello Friend 6x6 paper pad.  I fussy-cut the rose images from one of the papers.  I doodled over the papers with Stickles.
I used the beautiful Petaloo spray and intertwined the pretty coral roses and blue rose sprays into them.  I also added the Prima Lady Godivas in Orange Ice.  All the flowers have Stickles and gesso on them.  I knotted trinket pearls and added them by the flower clusters.  I also tied a bow with the Prima Alencon lace.  The little baby roses and leaves are also from her store.  I made two stickpins from the metal beadcaps and metal wings and crystal stickpins.
The center piece is made up of a paper doilie, two crochet doilies, a metal butterfly that I cut apart and used the wings behind the fairy cameo.  I also added some Prima Alencon lace and burlap twine behind the cameo.
I also added designer papers to the spine and back of the box.  The spine has some pleated satin ribbon from my stash and some Prima Alencon lace and trinket pearls.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
