~* My Besties Card *~

Aloha!
I'm sharing a card that I made with my new My Besties digi.  Isn't she adorable?  I colored her up with my Copic markers and added Stickles.  I used Colorbok textured cardstock and matted the designer paper from the K and Company Watercolor Bouquet paper pad.  I used a bunch of Wild Orchid Crafts products including trellis rose, wild roses, fabric butterfly, heart beaded spray, open rose, cosmos daisy, baby rosebuds, seam binding that I tied in a bow, and flower lace.  I also used velvet flowers and paper/velvet rose from Petaloo.  There is a pretty bead and a heart earring that I took off the backing from.  The paper flowers are all covered with Stickles in Star Dust.
I'm entering this card into the following:

~* Nautical-Themed Mixed Media Altered Kraft Envelope using Magnolia Hula Hula Tilda *~

Aloha!
I altered another kraft envelope.  I love these "one-sided" cards.  I used the beautiful Prima Seashore collection and the adorable Magnolia Hula Hula Tilda image that I colored up with my Copic markers.  I added real shells, nautical clays pieces that I colored with my Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists (Crushed Shells, Clam Bake, and a brown-toned one), cheesecloth, glass pearl beads, burlap twine, a metal anchor charm that I distressed with molding paste...I did some masking with my stencil and molding paste, but most of it was covered up.  I also added some goodies from my friend, Bev, who owns The Piece by Piece on Etsy.  I used some of the net-like material, gorgeous teal petal trim, and blue loopy trim she gave me.  I added some milky iridescent halfback pearls.  I also added this beach mat-like material and Aged Ivory Fran-tage.  I sprayed Lindy's Stamp Gang Cactus Gold all over the project.  I finished off the back to write a message to a friend.

~* Mixed Media Beach-Themed Mini Canvas *~

Aloha!
Sharing a mixed media mini canvas that I made for my friend, Bev, visiting the islands.  I had a lot of fun making this beach-themed project.  I've been collecting a lot of beach-themed/nautical crafty things lately and have been itching to create!  I added gesso to the top portion of the canvas and sort of swirled it on.  I added some Martha Stewart stucco paint on the bottom portion to make it look like sand.  I sprayed Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on the gesso and on the stucco paint.  I then stenciled with modeling paste over the top portion of the canvas.  I sprayed everything with Pearl Glimmer Mist so the colors ran over the stenciling.  I gessoed the chipboard letters and added Diamond Stickles all over them.  I added two pretty shells, some glass pearls, clay pieces that I sprayed with Glimmer Mists, and some burlap twine that I tied in a bow.  I adhered that burlap-like material and cheesecloth to the back of the canvas.  I rubbed gesso on everything and added some Fran-tage in Aged Ivory.

~* Vintage Hawaii Altered Kraft Envelope with Hula Magnolia Tilda *~

Aloha!
Here is an altered kraft envelope that I made into my "one-sided" card.  I used the beautiful Kaisercraft Tropicana paper collection.  I used the adorable Hula Hula Tilda Magnolia Rubber Stamp Sea Breeze Collection (my second Tilda stamp :))!  Love her!  I colored her up with my Copic markers and I distressed the image with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I layered designer papers and cardstock diecuts and stickers from the collection.  Everything is distressed with the Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I tied some burlap twine, used a paper hibiscus flower that I distressed and added the ship's wheel and a vintage-looking button.  I used a Dandelion Designs stamp, "fun in the sun!!" and the tag says "Happy Memories"
On the back, I sealed the envelope and added diecuts from the collection.   I plan to add my message here.

~* Shabby Chic Mason Jar Hanging Using Tilda Country Escape Paper Stack *~

Aloha!
I created this mason jar wall hanging starting off with a mason jar chipboard diecut, some Tilda Country Escape paper stack diecuts, and a cute heart hanger from this kit that I purchased from amadoreros on YouTube.  I then embellished away with goodies in my stash.  I distressed the edges of the mason jar and the hanger with gesso.  I tied some crochet lace in a bow on the hanger.  I hope to include some family photos on this wall hanging soon!
I used some corrugated cardstock to make the lip of the jar and I distressed it with gesso.  I used some crochet trim and lace and trinket pearls around it and I knotted the trinket pearls and added a cluster of flowers.  I added some fabric Thickers to spell out "Loves".  The big cluster of flowers has some vintage wedding spray, a stickpin I made, a flower bud spray, a bunch of Wild Orchid Crafts roses, a frosted flower cabochon, vintage lace, delicate lace, and an applique.  I added two blue birdies that were diecuts in the paper collection and I also added a cute heart pearl button.
On the "back," I did the same thing with the corrugated cardstock.  I added a "I heart you" wood piece from Prima that I distressed with gesso.  I cut apart a big doilie from Daiso from my friend Joanne.  I added a frame that I fussy-cut from the paper stack.  I added a cameo that I distressed with gesso and some Wild Orchid Crafts roses.  I made a cluster of Wild Orchid Crafts roses and rosebuds, and a doodad.  Lastly, I added three pearl cabochons from Wild Orchid Crafts at the bottom left corner.

Aloha!
Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas out there :)!
Here is a shadow box that I made using the adorable "Butterfly Wishes Collection - Tilda With Hawaii Flower".  I had some mojo last night to create this project.  Loved being able to go into my crafty closets and pull out product that I haven't used in awhile...mainly laces and some vintage laces that I had in my stash :).
I used the Papermania Vintage Notes paper.  I love how shabby chic they are.  I painted the wood shadow box with gesso and then with China Blue acrylic paint.  I love that color!!!  I added a paper doilie then I placed the Tilda that I colored up with my Copic markers and then fussy cut.  There are bits of vintage laces, pearls, appliques, Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima paper flowers, trinket pearls that I knotted, fabric leaves, butterfly appliques, tons of Wild Orchid Crafts halfback pearls in different shapes and sizes, buttons, some fabric flowers, and some millinery flowers.

~* Shabby Chic Tilda "Card" *~

Aloha!
Sorry, I have not been bloggin' lately or making too many projects.  I've been both preparing for an exam and been sick :(.  I am still sick, but getting better slowly.  I hope all is well with you, my sweet friends!
Here is a "card" that I made using the adorable "Butterfly Wishes Collection - Tilda With Hawaii Flower".  I guess you can guess why I bought the stamp, hehe.  I colored her up with my Copic markers.  I fussy cut around the image.
I started off with a 6" x 6" piece of chipboard that I adhered some corrugated cardstock onto.  I used the beautiful papers from the Papermania Vintage Notes collection.  I love the papers!  I distressed the papers with my fingernail.  I also used a big heart paper doilie.  I cut one of the designer papers from the Vintage Notes collection in the shape of a heart.  I added some pretty cream lace around the edge of the heart-shaped paper.  I added an adhesive cream doilie that looks likes wings behind the Tilda image.  I also made a little banner using the paper collection.  I used a Stampin' Up! banner punch and added heart pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts to each banner.
I added a bunch of yummies from Wild Orchid Crafts - paper roses (trellis, cottage, and rosebuds), pearl flowers, crystal bling, fabric butterfly, rose cabochon, and some pearl trim that I knotted.  I added some Prima paper butterflies, Petaloo velvet flowers, my fave May Arts crochet trim, some delicate lace that I tied in a bow, a plastic heart bead, and some seam binding.
I would like to enter this project in:

~* "Aloha" Beach-Themed Card *~

Aloha Everyone!
I know, it's been awhile!  Things have been so hectic for me the past couple months.  So happy that I got a chance to craft a little.  I made this card using the corrugated card base from Michaels.  I added some designer paper from the The Paper Studio Beach House paper stack and I used a glassine bag from Websters' Pages.  I used a sweet image called skippy and bobbin from Whimsy Stamps.  I colored them up with my Copic markers.  Thankfully, I had just enough ink for her skin.  I have to get a refill now :p'.
I added some fabric Thickers, pearl halfback hearts and a rose cabochon from Wild Orchid Crafts, butterflies and flowers from Prima, a Kaisercraft crochet doilie, my fave heart trim from Websters' Pages, my fave May Arts crochet trim, and a bunch of other laces from my stash.  I added some Stickles to some of the flowers and the butterflies and portions of the stamped image.
I'm entered this card in a challenge on YouTube by ScrappinStampers (Jamie).

~* Shabby Chic Altered Paper Mache Letter using Prima Divine *~

Aloha!
I'm sharing an altered paper mache letter that I made using the Prima Divine collection.  I adhered the papers to both sides of the letter after gesso-ing the letter up.  I distressed the edges and added some beautiful Hobby Lobby trim all around the letter.  I also fussy-cut the rose image from another paper and added Stickles all over it.  I used my Art Is stencil and modeling paste at the bottom and added modeling paste and Stickles around the letter to give it texture and shimmer.
There are fabric and paper flowers from Prima, craftycity.com, and my local craft store.  All of the paper flowers have gesso and Stickles on them.  I also added my fave Webster's Pages' heart trim, Prima Alencon lace, and lace from craftycity.com.  There is a Kaisercraft crochet doilie, a heart bead, pearl stamens, pearl flourishes, and peach silk ribbon that I tied in a bow.
There is an adorable resin birdie on the bottom that I made a nest for.  I used some tulle trim, half a crochet doilie, three halfback pearls, a rose cabochon, and pink flower trim.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!

~* Quick Shabby Chic Card *~

Aloha!
Here is a quick shabby chic card that I made using printables called Vintage Finds from iralamijashop on Etsy.  Thanks again, Bety!  I cut a Recollections corrugated cardstock card to fit the size of the papers.  I distressed the edges of the papers and also used the sentiment piece from the collection.  I also distressed the edges with Antique White acrylic paint.  I added a strip of the corrugated cardboard at the bottom of the card, then I added some Webster's Pages' trims - the one under the sentiment and the heart trim.  I also added some white organza rosette trim.  I used a pretty Prima fabric flower, Wild Orchid Crafts roses, delicate lace that I tied in a bows, seam binding that I double-bowed, the 5 cent image from the collection that I punched out and distressed,  some baby Prima roses, and a heart halfback pearl.  I also added some of the paper to the inside so I could write my message.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
