~* Creative Journal Pages & Amy Tangerine's Workshop in Hawaii *~

Aloha Friends!
I am so behind in posting my Creative Midori Journal Challenge pages here on my blog and my Ink Road Listers pages has been sooo busy!!  I hope to catch up soon!
I had signed up for an Amy Tangerine Workshop hosted by Sakuralala, an online store based in Hawaii.  In anticipation of the workshop, I created these pages in my hopes I could have Amy sign it :).  I used her At Rise and Shine collection.  I used the entire 6x6 in my journals...I utilized the cover and scraps on these pages as well as some ephemera.
The workshop was so much fun!  It was so neat to meet Amy.  She was beautiful, sweet, and talented.  Her mom was also so nice and her son was so adorable.  At the workshop, we mainly worked on the Good Times Album.  I deviated from the guidance a little to add my little spin.  We got to use the fuse tool to seal in our wood trinkets.
Here is the cover of my album.  We gessoed it and then applied some white paint and other paints and then Traci Bautista's Collage Pauge in matte.  (So sad, one of the gold "x" fell off.)  To the right is my signed journal :).  I created three pages.  I will share some later.
I had a wonderful time meeting fellow IGers and meeting new friends.  We also got to try the Minc machine :).  Eri was so sweet and generous with her goodie bag.  Here is what we received.  An exclusive Hawaii stamp set by Amy Tangerine and Sakuralala, a turquoise kraft Midori insert, and a Uniball Sign white gel pen.
I also shopped at the pop-up shop and picked up these goodies.  I cannot wait to use my new MTN and watercolors!!  So very excited!!!
I wanted to document this lovely day and so I created this two page spread in my journal.  I used some more scraps from the At Rise and Shine collection as well as things I received that day.
Thanks again to Amy, Eri, Chiao and Jack.  I look forward to future workshops!!
*hugs* and Much aloha,
Steph :)
