I've started many blog posts, but have not had a chance to complete them. If you are interested in my daily crafty happenings and more, check out my IG handle at @swtalohagurl :)
The Aloha Planner Party and Traveler's Notebook Workshop took place on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for the Planner Party and from 4:30 pm to 6 pm for the Workshop. The event was at the Ward Dave and Buster's and it was hosted by Florence Antonette, livelifeandcreate on IG.
In preparation for the event, I created these two spreads in my Moleskine notebook in my Kiwi Dori. The first spread was created using the Hello Lovely collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Isn't the collection so pretty? I used the papers, stickers, and ephemera from the collection.
The second spread was created using Amy Tangerine's collections. I used a mix of several collections. Loved using the ephemera, stickers, acetate pieces that I cut from the 12x12, washi tapes, and more. I also used some Maggie Holmes washi tape, which I love, love, love :)!
I enjoyed taking photos with my friends in the photo booth and talking stories with my old and new friends at the Planner Party.
I created this two page spread at the workshop. We were given a bunch of goodies and I decided to just document the day. I used some Traveler's Factory stamps that Florence had out as well as these cute Hawaii stickers that Posh Pieces passed out. Loved the Jillie Bean postcard paper so much! I need to find more :)! (I transferred my Moleskine into my mylkshoppe leather sweetdori.)
Here is my first spread, which I had my friends sign. Loved meeting some new friends at the planner party. We had a lot of fun crafting together and chatting.
Here is the second spread. I had Florence sign it and I added Instax photos of the goodies we received for the Traveler's Notebook Workshop and a Instax photo of me and Florence.
I had a wonderful time crafting with my friends. Crafty therapy is definitely good for the soul :)!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
*hugs* and Much aloha,
